Hey farm family!
I can't believe we're in the 6th week (oh my god half way!?) through our first CSA period! Coinciding with our first real growing season at our new farm site in Kurri Kurri, the stability that the program has given us has been so valuable for us to hit the ground running (or growing) these last 6 weeks.
Here's a bit of an update of what's been happening at the farm this week:
Our southmost beds (pictured 1st) have copped a battering from the rain and the ducks, and as such germination has been poor and we will have to start them over again! However, the north beds (pictured 2nd) are going great! We've protected these ones from the ducks with some veggie netting and have peppers, lettuce, zucchini, carrots and daikon radish coming along beautifully!
Check out this carrot germination! and Lauren next to these crazy luffa vines!
We hope everyone is having a great week and we'd love to hear what produce you are enjoying at the moment and if you've found any creative dishes that make those gorgeous veggies shine!
